SelecTrucks
In the last month, we launched three more SelecTrucks sites (Chicago, Massachusetts, and Los Angeles), and got one more to Alpha, but at that point we were two-three weeks behind on the project, depending on which estimate you were looking at, and with a major redesign on my desk for Detroit Diesel, it was clear that we were only going to fall further behind.
Thanks to some clever planning by Andrew and Justin, in the last two weeks we came up with an emergency plan of action, and at the end of last week, we had the next seven sites to Alpha status. This not only catches us up in terms of schedule (ahead of schedule, in fact), it caught us up in terms of hours, which means we can keep the project profitable (something that wasn't certain before).
We now have two sites in Beta, and three more coming, and odds are good that by the end of the month we'll have 13 total sites launched, which puts us just shy of half-way through the entire project!
Detroit Diesel
This project is incredibly exciting to me, because I got to handle all of the CSS and production work, and I'm really proud of the site we've produced. I put in a big push, and we managed to get the site through Alpha and into Beta early last week. We've got client reviews coming in later this week, so there's a good chance I'll have something to show here at the end of the month!
Training
Training completely fell off my schedule in the last few weeks, because we were so behind. Now that my schedule has opened up a bit again, I'm going to pick up where I left off, and give a small presentation to the team on theming in ASP.NET 2.0.
Goofy
I added these fancy little thumbnails, which link to the live sites I've helped launch each month. Pointless, but nice looking.
